The seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy will be our headline guest at #TimeEddyIII. The Scottish actor appeared as the TimeLord for three years in the classic series as well as in the 1996 Doctor Who movie. He has reprised the role in recent years for the Big Finish audios. He also featured in the 30th and 50th anniversary specials Dimensions in Time, and the Five(ish) Doctors. Beyond Doctor Who, Sylvester has an extensive repertoire as a stage and TV actor but he has developed a new cult following in recent years having starred as Radagast in The Hobbit.

Appearing alongside Sylvester will be Doctor Who Movie star Eric Roberts. He played the Master in the 1996 classic but is equally well know for starring roles in Batman: The Dark Knight, Runaway Train, King of the Gypsies and Star 80, and hundreds of other movie and TV appearances.

We are thrilled to announce that William Russell and Carole Ann Ford will be guests of honor at Time Eddy III in Wichita, KS. The duo appeared alongside William Hartnell (The Doctor) in the first ever episode of the show. They went on to appear in over 50 episodes together before Carole left the series. William appeared in a further 26 episodes before being replaced as the male companion by Time Eddy I guest Peter Purves.

As the original cast members, Ford and Russell were onscreen for the first appearance of the TARDIS. They were also the first companions to visit Skaro and face the Daleks, along with the late Jacqueline Hill. 20 years later, Carole returned to Doctor Who for the anniversary special The Five Doctors. Away from Doctor Who, Carole and William are distinguished actors of stage and screen. This is a rare opportunity for fans in the U.S. to meet this duo and were are honored to be hosting them.

Classic companion Jo Grant AKA Katy Manning will be making her long awaited TE debut after a last minute work cancellation two years ago. We are delighted to welcome the popular actress who has enjoyed a second career as the Time Lady Iris Wildthyme. Mathematical genius and Cybermen vanquisher Adric (Matthew Waterhouse) will also be joining us as announced during our hugely successful fundraiser for KTPS8.

Following the success of last year’s Ravalox Remixes concert, Doctor Who composer Dominic Glynn will be returning to Wichita with a live show featuring tracks from his Happiness Patrol remix EP. Novachild will again be providing the visuals for this huge Saturday night event. Another returning favorite is Script Editor Andrew Cartmel who appeared at TE1. Cartmel recently published “The Vinyl Detective” but he is best known among Who fans for his Masterplan that drove the storyline during the McCoy era.

Science fiction would be nothing without a basis in science fact and we plan to explore this angle at TEIII with the help of TV space historian Amy Shira Teitel. You can catch Amy on the Science Channel, American Heroes Channel, Syfy, and the Travel Channel.

Sylvester  who is appearing courtesy of Galactic Productions, LLC, Katy and Eric will be participating in Q&A sessions, signings autographs and posing for pictures during all three days of #TimeEddy III. He will also be in attendance at our Thursday night event A Night Among The Stars featuring Amy Shira Teitel at the Hutchinson Cosmosphere. Tickets for Time Eddy III are on sale now with big discounts for early registration.
